 Welcome to the
Learning Resource Center
Grades 3-5
My name is Rehana Chaudry
and this is my seventh year at ISK as a learning support
teacher.
My role is to provide the
optimal match between a student's identified academic talent(s) and
an appropriate educational experience(s) that will enhance that
capability to the fullest extent.
Using the framework for
differentiating insruction, and through close collaboration with
homeroom teachers, we provide the following:
- Multiple opportunities for demonstration of student
learning
- Learning experiences in alternate ways
- Enrichment activities
- Modified curriculum
- Formal and informal assessments
We provide both inclusion
and resource models to support students. Our Resource room is
equipped with a variety of multi-sensory materials that enhance
