Welcome to my

Hello artists, young and old and welcome to ES
art. In ES art we explore art as a language, individual master
artists and art movements, the elements and principles of art, art
production using many different media and finally the idea of art
assessment. Each semester, there are two art shows where you can
celebrate our students' lovely work, The art exhibits usally
coincide with music concerts. This semester the art exhibit and
concert theme is called "Dear
Earthling, Letters from space!" This
idea comes directly from the children who voted for a space theme
for the first art show. Right now we are in the brainstorming stage
and still working out ways to enhance the art curriculum with this
theme. Expect robots, space mobiles, alien families and
planetary expressions. So far we have received one letter from
ZZzz, a friendly space alien, thanking his earthling buddy for a
kind invitation to visit ISK. His spaceship arrives on Nov. 26.
Here is some art show and concert information:
1. Show set up: Sat., Nov.26 9:30-12:00. students accompanied
by parents may come and help me set up. 4th and 5th grade
students only may come unaccompanied by an adult.
2. The show will run from Nov.26-Dec.3. The concerts are prek, kdg.
and grade1 on Dec.14 and Grade 2-5 on Dec.16
