About myself-I have been at ISK since August of 2009! I came
from the International School of Jakarta in August of 2009.
I taught at JIS for 15 years teaching both IB and US
Mathematic's curriculums.
My hobbies include scuba diving, roller blading, skiing, and
traveling. I am a third culture kid, having grown up in Japan
and truly enjoy the joys and challenges that students in an
international setting experience.
On this website, you will be able to view your students Unit
Planners (under Documents) for each unit of their course. All
tests and quizzes are pre-announced to allow for adequate
preparation. In the unlikely event of school closure,
students are able to continue with their studies since the
objectives along with the assignments are available for them.
All students also have a hard copy of the Unit Planner.
As the year continues you will be able to check on your
student’s progress. Grades will be posted in the
classroom and updated after every major assessment.
I look forward to helping your student learn and enjoy mathematics,
and apply the many interesting and challenging topics offered
throughout the year
